Quick Shop:

If you live in Miami (or in the surrounding area) or are visiting from out of state, be sure to stop by the Dior Pop-Up Cafe in the Design District, located on the third floor of the boutique’s outdoor terrace. The decor and ambiance are sooo Instagram-worthy! I highly recommend that you make a reservation days before going or you’ll have to be put on a waitlist once you get there (due to limited space and Covid precautions). The wait is usually about an hour and a half, depending on how many people are in front of you. You’ll receive a text, once seating is available and you’ll have 5 minutes to respond back to the message and see the host to avoid removal.

Where Is Dior Located:

The Dior Cafe is located at 162 NE 39th St. Miami, FL 33137. Open Monday-Saturday from 11am – 7pm and Sunday from 12pm – 6pm. Parking is very conveniently located a short distance from the boutique at the Palm Court Garage (140 NE 39th St.Miami, FL 33137) – Parking Rates: 0 to 4 hrs = $3 | 4 to 6 hrs = $6 | 6+ hrs/per day = $25. The nearest valet is Station 5 (located right in front of the Dior Boutique) – Valet Rates: 0 to 4 hrs = $5 | 4 to 6 hrs = $10 | 6+ hrs = $40. There’s of course on-street parking but that ends up being a bit pricey with rates at $4.25 per hour.

Whats On The Menu:

Dior Amour Gelato

“There’s a concise menu of coffee, teas, juices and assorted fruits and pastries.” I recommend trying the Dior Amour Gelato ($19). It’s a heart shaped gelato with pistachio sprinkled on top! Its sooo yummy if you’re a pistachio lover like me!! I’m not a big coffee person, but I did order the Dior Almond Latte ($14) and a plain croissant ($8).

Dior Almond Latte

The croissant was sweet because there was sugar sprinkled on top – but just don’t get your hopes up and expect a delicious, flaky croissant, like the ones in Paris!

Croissant

The prices of each item are pretty much inflated as you can see and expect. Was it worth it? Well, for the experience…yes! But will I be going there for coffee and pastries all the time, um no.

How’s The Service:

This area is subjective and will be different for everyone, but this was my experience. Upon entering the cafe, we waited by the entrance for a little, before deciding to snap some shots to pass the time. Eventually, the host from downstairs that we gave our information to, came up and seated us. We got really lucky with a perfect spot directly in front of the “Dior” sign and also it was in the shade! We almost got seated at another table across from where we sat and it was directly in the sun 🥴(see 4th picture from the top for reference).

Once seated, we waited for quite a while. We noticed other guests waiting to be served and looking around for someone too. Finally, our waitress came over and asked us what we would like to order. But we didn’t even have a contactless menu, to begin with. So she got us a menu and we made our selections quickly, then flagged her down. She was very kind with a bubbly personality and she answered all of our questions. Our order came out fairly quickly which shocked me.

Overall, I personally think it was a good experience! I mainly came for the ambiance anyway.
