I highly recommend getting the convenient “all day” ticket for just $35, ensuring unlimited hop-on, hop-off access from 10 am to 10 pm. If you prefer an evening voyage, the ticket is $20 and is valid from 5 pm to 10 pm. Note, tickets must be purchased online in advance. You can purchase them here.
We hopped on at the 1st stop – which is at the Riverside Hotel. Once aboard, quench your thirst with a wide selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available onboard. You’ll also learn some interesting details about the mansions and places passed along the way.
Hop off to unwind on Fort Lauderdale beach, explore captivating art galleries, or indulge in exciting activities like paddle boarding and jet skiing.
If you get hungry, there are certain bars and restaurants that offer exclusive discounts to Water Taxi ticket holders. One restaurant, named Quarterback, offered complimentary wings alongside the purchase of an entree! The food there was amazing! I recommend trying the salmon burger. If you go between the hours of 11 am and 4 pm, you can get this burger for only $8!! Needless to say, I have been back 3 times since then.
After you finish exploring for the day, you can hop back on the Water Taxi and enjoy more sightseeing. On the Fort Lauderdale Water Taxi website, there is a live tracker that tracks where the boats are to see the estimated distance and time to the next stop.
For an unforgettable date night, I suggest joining the Taxi Tunes cruise every Friday from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Relax on the enchanting Double Decker boats, delighting in live music and refreshing beverages.
